That roof rail/spoiler/D-pillar thing is a really slick overall idea.

The only thing that would make sense to me would be for GM to go nuts with this and make a Ford GT competitor. Profit schmoffit, just do something to show off. The Corvette is too attainable. Make a true Halo Car. If they don’t, there will always be the perfectly valid question of “why not Corvette instead?” Why pay

Naming it a Corvette anything, to me, would be totally dumb and lazy. So I expect it. That’s one thing GM does extremely reliably - gross me the fuck out.

This is a cool idea, but I see the following things causing concern:

I would guess it will be priced close to a Z4, $50-$60k range, with loaded out models getting close to or over $70k as the Z did. It’s hard to say whether it will be priced under the BMW, or given such a “sporty” treatment as to justify it coming in at the same price as the Z4.

Do you think BMW will be doubling the price of the Z4, too? It will take a particularly die-hard Supra fan to pay close to six figures for a Toyota-flavored Z4. I’m sure the Toyota will be priced closely to the Z4, perhaps with the Supra being marketed as the “sportier” of the two in order to justify closing the

I’m sad that he won’t be at STPR with this thing, but this is all pretty neat.

They only care how they’ll vote. And they are much less likely to vote red if they’re well educated. Truth is the enemy of evil.

Yea man, Target is a splurge for me, an occasion. I feel like I need to get dressed up nice to go there.

This is the only thing I’ve ever heard come from him that hasn’t offended me. This is almost redeeming, if redemption were possible for such an individual.

I’ve been thinking about turbo vs. NA a lot lately. If they maintain a similar engine architecture, this could be a 240hp, 180lb-ft engine. No crazy high revs, but it could be pretty dramatic and S2000-ey. Which really would be close to perfect. I hope they stay away from turbo for many reasons.

The last Celica GT-S. That high revving, 100 hp/l 1.8 is gold. I’m always pumped to see one and people think I’m mental.

These are all things that happen to me pretty often, and I don’t really do any bad things. Maybe I’m in the wrong business.

Really, this is COTD? And not this?

You will never experience first hand what it’s like to pilot the $3 million Ferrari FXX K, but that’s why YouTube exists.

I only came here to agree with Torch, left a better person thanks to this.

You’re right about the population of not-racists growing. The seeds sown by the right over the last 10 years are exploding out of the shit pile, almost to their horror, certainly to ours. A lot of the people who say the stuff you’ve listed here are not just not-racists, they are genuinely racist. But a lot of people

Some folks with insider knowledge have suggested that Subaru Japan would have been glad for Subaru of America to sell the car here, but SoA was swamped in 2014 with new vehicle launches (for other cars that would sell in volume) and turned it down. Seems plausible?

There is no vehicle for sale in the USA that the Levorg’s sales would eat into. It would sell in the low hundreds per year. It’s priced at a big premium over any comparable small SUV (of which we have many to choose from) and would be seen as a smaller, more expensive and less rugged Outback by most consumers. Priced

My first car was a beat Chevy Corsica, and the engine pinged and chattered under load with 87 octane gas. I found that 89 was enough to chill it out.
