Ah, I watched the video. It wasn’t me.

Does this thing have a rally-style anti-lag system? That crackle between upshifts just doesn’t sound like sensible backfiring. Sounds like anti-lag.
I will say that I expect the next round or premium/performance Subarus to blow my socks off just as much as the current one did - meaning big improvements. Their current lineup is a big leap for them as is. I don’t expect the STI to trounce the Focus RS or whatever super Golf once it gets DIT power, but it will have…
I do believe they pushed their budgets to the limits. Yes they are crushing it sales-wise and have been for while now, but that doesn’t translate into everyone’s budgets soaring right away. Especially when the tiny company (Subaru of America) is used to such a tiny overall budget. I’m sure they spent every dime that…
FYI, customers who purchased 2015 and I think now 2016 WRX/WRX STI have been receiving surveys from Subaru that seem to be trying to determine whether people are interested in a 5-door, and whether they’d prefer it be a wagon or a hatchback. So the hatch is coming. (My vote was “wagon, but yes, I’ll settle for a hatch…
This is actually pretty neat, comes off as pretty original. Usually these kinds of things just annoy me and get me down. The price seems pretty reasonable honestly, normally I wouldn’t believe they’d ever sell 311 of a car like this but I think it’ll be a hit.
For sure, I think these things peaked when I had an especially cloggy episode of my whole sinus system just not being right. I did a lot of saline flushing in addition to tongue scraping and periodic physical purges and now a tonsil stone is a relatively rare thing.
Yeeeeow. I really hope that’s actually strep throat or acute tonsillitis. Those can cause a large, white, patchy area back there. Otherwise, yea, air strike/tactical nuke.
Wow. Well, stick a few X’s in the “Possible Pro’s” column.
Everyone’s tongue has a lot of the same kind of bacteria on it that the stones seem to be made of (see all the advice about brushing and scraping the tongue.) That stuff can give you the bad taste, and even sticking feeling. Yes, sometimes you can feel tonsil stones in your throat.
I tried this, can’t do it. I can get pretty aggressive with a q-tip or my finger and not gag, but those things are insta-gag for me. The model I had was pretty standard and its lowest pressure setting seemed way too powerful.
It’s something I think about, but I worry what kinds of negative effects tonsil removal could have on my immune system. They have to be there for a reason, after all. I only have issues with the stones once in a blue moon these days so unless I do get acute tonsillitis I’ll leave ‘em.
Don’t feel too bad. My dentist didn’t even know what I was talking about when I mentioned them at first. And he’s a pretty good dentist.
Can’t watch video, are tonsil stones mentioned? These can be a super pain, and there’s no easy way to make them go away.
One thought I had is that he may have underestimated how dire his situation was and how critical things were getting. Being an old guy, exhaustion may have set in suddenly and he could have passed out somewhat without warning. Then it would just be a matter of time and nobody would be the wiser unless they looked into…
Super heartbreaking. Knowing those little dogs, once she realized he was gone she probably kicked it just to go with him. Hopefully they’re joyriding in the great beyond now.
