I’m sure it’s staged. I’ve used a Vision Pro and nothing he is doing seems like he’s really doing anything constructive in there. The waving in the air thing is a “look at me” moment. He could be using the steering wheel, or keep his hand in his lap, and click just fine.

TRD. Pronounce it out loud, not as an initialism. I can’t believe they stuck with TuRD for so long. It actually fits this poopy truck, though, IMO, YMMV.

These delivery robots from Starship Technology are monitored and remotely controlled by a human as needed. I’ve seen them go from what looks like an autonomous issue to obviously controlled by a person fixing the situation.

This. I had to ask my neighbors behind me to turn off their lasters because they were blasting my house through our shared tree line and fence. When I described the issue, I also explained that they are under a hospital flight path and had a chance to inadvertently hitting an aircraft.

I could ride up that with my eyes closed on my bicycle, Elon.

It’s totaled.

After years of experience braking or accelerating to intentionally have my passengers dump the water they’re drinking all over themselves, I have to be that guy and say that the gif doesn’t accurately portray a bowl of liquid being hit from behind. Well, science class taught me about the law of inertia - things at

I’d say I’m waiting for the used ones, but I gave up even considering them when I saw the fake vents all over them. I just can’t.

I have a pic of my grandparents muggin’ in front of their new Honda wagon. They loved it. Even if this was their exact car, in pristine condition, I’d spend no more than it’s worth - say $1200 (KBB). Sounds about right.

Everyone lacks empathy and understanding. This is a perfect example of someone thinking they know more about a situation than they really do. People are so stuck up in their own butts that they can’t put on others’ shoes or walk a mile in them.

I know a guy in town who has one. It’s not in quite as nice shape, but close. It’s brown and lacks the impact of that striping. I think they are charming and I’d drive one. But not for $20k. That’s dumb. I guess I’ll never own a classic car ior import because collectors are willing to spend dumb money (to me).

*.* and get off my lawn.

Came here to rant about state automobile inspections again - BUT North Carolina requires them yearly and 19 counties have emission inspections.

Class 1 e-bikes should be the norm (pedal assist only, Class 2 has throttle). Or ride a normal bike and be healthier. Don’t complain about getting to work sweaty - because you’re doing it wrong. Go ask the Dutch how they ride so much without a need to shower after.

Again, show me an F1 bridge that doesn’t have views obscured, and I’ll show you Yas Marina, but that’s about it.

Surprise, congestion slows down traffic. Street parking and narrower lanes do slow cars down. Unfortunately, firetrucks are huge and many small neighborhoods in my area that have only street parking now only have parking on one side of the street and suburbia standards are giant boulevards - perfect for midnight

One of life’s greatest mysteries is how little car salespeople know about the products they sell. It’s because most aren’t really in sales (mentally and skills wise). The real sales industry hustles to convince their clients they need to buy XYZ. Car dealers have had it pretty easy the past 130 years.

That photo of the front wheel gap is hilarious. Looks like it need mud tires.

Even at 2x, that demo video was like watching paint dry.   I know, one step at at time.  Pun!

Those wheels are gross and made me comment. And I’m a big defender of oem / factory designed wheels.
