Airlines will just start charging for carry ons to encourage people to take nothing with them instead.

The private sector acts solely in its own interest, nothing more and nothing less. It’s not much of a surprise that Delta would want to get paying customers in more efficiently, just as it’s not much of a surprise that Walmart and Amazon treat their employees like cattle.

Or maybe airlines can bring back free bag check? Just a thought because a lot of people these days are bringing a carry on luggage and those slow down the line a lot.

I have been surprised by the number of comments from Baylor alums along these lines. Oddly enough for Texas, quite a few of them appear to believe the recent focus on football was the school going astray from its educational/evangelical mission.

My best friend and college roommate for three years is a conservative, and was a member of the college Republicans. He was (and is) an exemplary conservative and one whom I wish the party was full of.
