It’s absolutely amazing to me that living in a world where there has never been greater access to knowledge and scientific research is making so many people even more stupid and less educated than they would be without that access.

While you are correct that rock is rock and doesn’t need separating out. This is clearly one in a series of different LGBTQ+ media lists that AV Club has been doing to celebrate Pride Month, and since that’s a theme, it does make sense to separate out the niche they’re examining for that reason.

My youngest kid and I are currently building an elaborate Minecraft island-spanning town. We also play Pokemon Go together. And we’ll play a lot of single player games concurrently, like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and discuss what we’re doing and what we think of it.  It definitely brings us closer together and gives

This woman is clearly very economically anxious.

Yesterday I tried to purchase music on itunes only to be told that to do so, I had to update the software...because reasons...so I downloaded both songs on tpb...the harder they make it, the more people will go arrrrrr

For me the future of streaming was buying 20 TB worth of hard disks and building a network attached storage with a containerized Deluge instance that sits behind a Swedish VPN. The remaining steps are left to derive as an exercise for the reader.

It's called "news". It's silly to choose to interpret it as hate.

Agreed! As another person who has had both consoles throught their history (xbox,ps2/ps3,360/one x, ps4 pro) Sony’s console interface and network have always been so subpar when compared to Microsoft’s.

You keep thinking of Sony Playstation versus Microsoft Xbox, yes Sony in that idea is bigger, but in reality Microsoft is a much larger juggernaut, and therefore better to dictate terms to Sony.

I like how the link in this article that you think is connected to Kotaku’s Crackdown 3 review instead sends you to a Vice article about Joe Biden memes.

You know how racing games have gotten so realistic that you watch a replay and think “man, that looks real, but there’s no way they could get a camera to follow the car like that”?

You kinda set yourself up for that one...

I am absolutely saying hes an idiot.

There are fewer better poster children for shitty automation than self-checkout. I have literally never, as in not one single time, successfully completed a checkout at a self-service station in a grocery store without having to call a human employee over. And it’s not because I’m an idiot. Or not entirely, anyway.

Counter-point: Self-checkout (when properly configured and working) is the best.

George Carlin said it best: “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”

“Why is that Sim grilling burgers for breakfast?”

I don’t! Luckily with the time I save not eating food I just wander around the internet, saying things just so people will act like enormous dicks to me for no reason.

This isn’t me just deciding this, you know.  Making up shit just so people yell at me about it on the internet is not one of my many hobbies.

There has got to be a medium ground here between people who don’t believe in seasoning at all, and between people who still recommend marinating meat, which has been widely proven to do almost nothing.
