Virginia lets you renew your drivers license entirely online. They print up a new license using the picture and digital signature from your old one. I haven't renewed my license that way, but I did get a new license after moving across town, and never went into the DMV.

You bet I would. Well, actually I don't have an iPhone to trade in, but I'll trade in the Kaiser I'm going to get when they come out. Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, all the Google services. Sign me up.

I can't find my walk score because the site got hammered, but I suspect it's really low. And guess what? I don't care. I have a nice big lot for the kids to play in, a decent sized house, a safe neighborhood and good schools. I'd rather have that than be able to walk down to an overpriced grocer or local coffee shop.
