Extremely basic maths states that 5 out of 100 = 5% and 5 out of 200 = 2.5%.
One of my friends hands out bottled water or a can of Mountain Dew (of assorted flavors, trick-or-treater’s choice). Walking in a bulky/heavy costume can be thirsty work!
The most popular house in my old childhood neighborhood was the “almost a mansion” house. You held that bag/pillowcase/bucket out there and the bent over old man would drop a single walnut in. He did this every year. Once you went one time, you were immediately a regular. Open the walnut and no edible walnut halves -…
My family and social circle is heavily Indian as well, and the general preference has been either Indian/ American Indian OR their specific Band for many of the reasons you cited. And if you go for the Band, you better know the district.
