I took a quick peek at it but wasn’t sure how to set it up as it really wants a regex/wildcard instead of just “thetakeout.com —> thetakeout.com/latest”

Don’t forget that commenting on a slideshow is essentially an exercise in futility.
I will simply bookmark thetakeout.com/latest and use that. I hate the new GMG design that is working its way through all the sites (this is essentially the Gizmodo design).
You and I are sympatico here. How the US of A, land of meat and fat, has somehow skipped the entire concept of the meat pie with the (generally sad) exception of the chicken pot pie is a mystery to me.
Glen says that so many times you should be wary about making it a drinking game. 😂
I know he says it in this video but he makes the same comment about pretty much every recipe he makes - everyone has different tastes, make it the way you like it. The recipes are simply guides and every family has their own way that…

NUMU is the best “vegan mozz” but hard to find outside of food service. Daiya is probably your best bet at the supermarket. You can also make homemade cashew ricotta for a post-bake addition of creaminess.
Is that the pepperoni lovers? It’s so good there.
Not impossible at all. The key is to be kind of lazy - dough tastes better when you don’t put a lot of effort into it and let it rest in your fridge a few days.
That would be fine. In this small amount, the liquid isn’t bringing a lot - the stock a hint of umami, the wine a touch of sweet/acid. A combination would be great!
Great find, Allison.
Disenchantment has always been way too plot focused and not nearly funny enough. Futurama had plenty of plot (and ever a serialized arc at times) but always brought the funny. Luci and Zog are the best of the core group at being more consistently funny but this is definitely the weakest link in the Groeningverse.
A Whirly-Pop is the “cook popcorn in fat” person’s best friend. You can even toss a few tablespoons of sugar in with the bacon fat and popcorn and end up with bacon kettle corn, aka bacon candy popcorn.
I am a little bit concerned that you are rubbing your hand directly onto the surface of a knife to clean it rather than using a scrubbing pad or brush. 😉
Personal experience is better than the word of some rando commenter on the Internet, so if it works for you, keep on keeping on!
The amount of science behind this is very sparse (I’ve been poking around this subject on and off today). There have been a few citizen scientist tests that seem to find an occasional but real effect - one test compared a wooden spoon vs a stainless steel spoon. The majority opinion was that neither worked, but the…
We could call that “The Dennis”
It’s a piece of stainless steel. The whole idea that steel reacts with the sulfur compounds, binding them to the steel, is bunk. The whole point of stainless steel is that it’s non-reactive (technically, that it’s very specifically reactive to oxygen, creating an atomically thin film of oxidation across the surface).
Do yourself a favor and buy some dissolvable labels like these. You can write on them with pencil or ballpoint pen and place them on any kind of container (I’ve done glass, deli/soup containers, etc). When you are done with contents, you can simply wash them away with warm water (or in the dishwasher).
They are made of…
