Nice price assuming 3 things. 1. No rust under the cowl (only option iirc correctly is to drill out the spot welds to replace it). 2. No rust in the torque box (only one on the driver side in '67, '68 and up got it on both sides to help with flexing from the motor). 3. No rust in floor boards or subframe area (both

One word. Skyhook. Or if we must use a car obviously we need an E38 735i with a manual. Driven by Frank Martin.

Yea I miss a lot of the QOTD because of my location (Bangkok) but this list is a joke without the inclusion of a 1g dsm. No other care will out drag it dollar for dollar under 7k, including whatever sub 2500 lb chassis you can think of with a budget 383. turbo awd and the venerable 4g63 make it the ultimate cheap

Galaxie Class? Also add says obo so at 5k I say nice price.

Those are fully optioned cars though I mean base impala's with 427's, base dart's wth 426's, and fairlanes with 429's. With drums all around, not power steering, am radio and bench seats (I'll make a concession for disc brakes). Think about a base colorado/canyon with a LS9 straight cab 6 foot bed 2wd and a speed. No

Apparently my post... refused to post. Just bring back COPO. Colorado with LS9 or LSA . Ford an Chrysler can follow suit. Just like the ole days base models with insane engines. Drag specials all the way. The epitome of a parts bin car.

Gm offering a base model colorado or silverado with an LS9 or LSA. Hell if they just brought back the COPO ordering it would rule all. Same goes for Ford or Chrysler. For all intents and purposes COPO was the ultimate parts bin warrior.

1G dsm.You can't even find a stock on these days. It is one the cheapest cars you can buy and make absurd amounts of power (think 350whp for 5k or less including the car), ergo you can afford them when you are still a new broke driver and still very very stupid behind the wheel. Also AWD versions give you the feeling

Why oh why couldn't have been '67? I've been dying to build metallicar.

I hate the term "dropped' in reference to releasing a new album. It is useless and pointless that conveys nothing over the proper term of released. I have no problems with slang permeating language if it conveys something that the original term did not. However drops is pointless.

10k is getting into '60's Bronco territory I'll gladly take one them over this.
