Cool. Still part of the seven kingdoms since they were founded. Still bent the knee. Still one of those most supportive kingdoms Robert had. Thanks for proving my point.
Yeah. I bet the Unsullied army was really worried about that dwarf with almost no fighting experience getting weapons.
Again, go rewatch the first season. The north is in rebellion because Joffrey killed Ned against his word and the promise of King. Before that, they happily bent the knee and fought to maintain the seven kingdoms. Even though they're part of the seven kingdoms, they're considered one of the strongest supporters of the…
So they guard all the side entrances to make sure no one gets in, or no one gets in armed, but leave the main entrance guarded by no one who could unarm a threat with no Unsullied to ensure that no one ran past the dragon. Which is a thing that literally happened 3 episodes ago. And is a thing Daenerys knew happened.…
I’m guessing Daenerys was there when an assassin sneaked past a dragon and a horde of white walkers and would know that one sleepy dragon would be shit security.
Jon's army was literally shown mass murdering innocent women and children, with one shown trying to rape a woman in the middle of a battle. So if you're going to condemn the general for the actions of their soldiers, then Jon certainly is guilty.
I think it's mostly because D&D kinda forgot about that prophecy.
The North wasn’t “slightly separatist,” they were part of the seven kingdoms. They were recognized by the kings as part of the kingdom. They bent the knee.
If they were optional, they shouldn't have said anything in the show.
So all the episodes you saw Daenerys murder thousands of innocent people wouldn’t make you think she’s changed and is now not herself? You think she’d be okay with being alone around an armed person who just watched her murder an entire city? A person who she felt just betrayed her?
No, they did. They literally took time out of a zombie siege to point it out.
No, we only spent the last week arguing about how she saw Jon’s refusal of her love as a betrayal, and how she burned down an entire fucking city because she felt betrayed.
Because no one was guarding any of the other doors. Daenerys never said to leave her alone. She never would.
Sansa is a Bolton or a Lannister, depending on how those titles work out. And if she marries, what man in that world would allow her to remain a Stark? And if she doesn't marry, who is going to let her bastard take the throne?
Forget about the dragon and focus on the most basic security measures for a person that just pissed off everyone and still believes everyone that isn’t an Unsullied is a threat.
It’s not like it's a room with only one entrance. No, it's a room that very much has multiple entrances. Not to mention, again, that he was allowed to be fully armed around a person who didn't trust him or anyone else.
None of them were part of the 7 kingdoms until the Targaryens took them all over. They've only had a king over all of them for 300 years.
“Oh, we can just say we’re independent now? I didn’t know we could do that. I guess we’re independent, too. I take back my ‘aye.’ Fuck all y’all.”
But why did no one see him do it? If Daenerys was so “mad” and paranoid, why would she ever allow herself to be alone with Jon? It makes no sense at all. They disarmed him before he talked to a prisoner that was sentenced to death, but leave him alone and fully armed around the queen who thinks everyone is now her…
