No. It's entirely possible to make an entertaining show while also accepting that there are limitations. Just waiving "suspension of disbelief" around doesn't mean you can do whatever you want.

But it’s already shown to have a 100% spread rate. Keeping the body alive doesn’t spread the virus. It’s already in everyone. There’s nothing to be achieved by keeping the dead body alive.

90% is a very low estimate for the population groups we’re shown. It’s closer to 99%+.

That’s incredibly dumb, given the rate of rot over just even the first season. You can slow it down, but it's still happening, and even 2 years would be too long.
