I think Goukens approach is justified tbh. He’s teaching a lethal martial art, that can easily be misappropriated to commit evil(often describing it’s dangerous techniques as tempting). So his standards for who can/should learn them are extremely high. And Dan’s problem is a personal issue at it’s root, so Dan could

You know, I can’t recall how many times I’ve looked at my phone and thought, “Man, I really just want to fold this thing.”

Yeah,... I’m going to be pretty sad if HBO starts moving towards the garbage that Discovery has been making. I know I don’t speak for everyone, but the Discovery content is worth less than nothing to me.

So this episode really re-energized my interest in the show. Actually scratch that, it had been growing pretty steadily since episode three started to actually build a story and get away from the “Joss’s greatest hits” vibe of the start.

See, Republicans WERE right. There was voter fraud!

The Way of the Samurai is found in death. Meditation on inevitable death should be performed daily. Every day when one’s body and mind are at peace, one should meditate upon being ripped apart by arrows, rifles, spears, and swords. Being carried away by surging waves. Being thrown into the midst of a great fire.

Yeah it was gonna be him with Coogler directing I think. And it would have been fucking awesome

Was anybody checking for TI like that in Ant-Man 3? It would have been news if they said Luis wasn’t coming back, but TI? Just another Disney franchise actor who’s also a trash person. Him and Gina Carano should team up for their own movie and call it The Unemployables.

75 year old drug addled brains often have very bad thoughts.

I think the current cast is strong - many of them can do comedy, drama, impressions, sing, etc. To me the flaws are more down to the headwriting problems, directing problems, and the show’s focus in recent years (especially the bloated political cold opens and all the bad political material in general clogging up the

Che’s jokes for Colin are almost always better in the joke trade bit but Che having to go “rest in power, king” about Jeffrey Epstein made me lose it.

Omg that final Weekend Update joke had me in stitches. They WENT there hahahaha.

I used to think Kristen Wiig was unfunny but seeing her in stuff outside of SNL and she’s hilarious. Anyway instead of SNL I re-watched Parasite for the first time since I saw it in theaters and it’s still amazing. One of the few times the Oscars got it right.

No. Just no. Kilmononger is  a villain.  A good one. But a villain.  He needs to stay that way.  Sick of these idiots who don't read comics coming up with terrible ideas. They need to just let the movie be or recast t challa.

Now playing

Of course, if you’re watching a true Marvel Studios joint starting with Thor: The Dark World, you’re not seeing that logo anymore, but one of these bad boys (but yes, I've missed the MCU dearly, welcome back!):

Starred! I don’t know why I can’t leave people stars.

Her new ones are actually white. *adjusts spectacles*

The writing’s crisp as well.

On the Disney side I am astonished that they didn’t provide her with a dozen passes for her family use. On the Rhimes side I am astonished that she spent much time and energy trying to rustle up freebies.
