So amped for the race this year! So many good stories up and down the paddock to keep the race super interesting. It also helps that my wife will be away on business. I’ll be able to relive my bachelor years of watching the race (think adult diapers and a keg of beer).

They tick all the boxes as far as I am concerned. They’re Japanese based and far more proud of their heritage than most manufacturers. Its a global car industry, man. Where it’s manufactured does not define a company any more.

Please just delete this article. It’s just plain stupid and does nothing but feed the tuner boy stereotype. At least make it a little more clear that you are goofing around. If this is an attempt to be serious about mods to the car, please send us a link to your letter of resignation.

Is it possible that Ford is sandbagging a bit? Didn’t the organizers add ballast to the Ford last year in the run up to the race because they were so quick?

I fell deep into that rabbit hole. Thanks, I think.

While I was watching the video I was thinking this might be good enough to dump iracing and move to a console. But, then I read this comment about the 11-year olds. Sticking with iracing.

Here’s some Ken Block driving to inspire all you would-be RS owners:

The moment that warm fuzzies and feelings start working their way into a decision about racing is the moment you’re no longer racing.

Fernando Alonso is really getting creative with his non-Formula 1 activities.

Pro Tip: If you smush a potato through the opening by left fog light, you get the most amazing krinkle cut fries.

I suspect it was due to an Alonso bump. His participation in Indy caused anyone even remotely interested in racing to be reminded that: a) Monoco was on the same day as Indy; and b) that its the most storied F1 race on the calendar.

That rendering looks like a 90s car with a DIY Japanese style body kit. Someone check to see if that front lip is made of plywood.

Throwing $20 at her gofundmepage for a bump in my Track Day Karma.

Good to know. Slowing cars down getting onto the oval is probably a really good idea. Hopefully the did a little reprofiling in the repave. Camber is not your friend at this track.

I don’t think they run T8 anymore. T7 and T9 connect now — at least in iRacing.

There’s several configurations of road courses available at Pocono. My local Porsche Club is doing a 3-day, 3-configuration event there in September.

Renault is not naming their F1 car a Clio though.

Hey, the sticker headlights are a 100% accurate representation of the actual headlights.

I reject your use of the word “road course.” Charloette is more like a race through a mall parking lot. Pit exit is right on top of the braking zone for T1. The rest of the track is absurdly off camber. BOOOOOOOOO! Take it to Barber or VIR, NASCAR!
