Buzzing that top bolt off a strut makes them worth their weight in gold.

Electric is the way to go. More torque than an air compressor fed wrench. They’re about $40 on sale at Harbor Freight.

Craftsman makes the best one I have ever used. You can pre-set the PSI and the gauge pops off and can be used independently of the compressor.

Someone joined the CSA and can’t keep up with their heirloom share!

Wasn’t Watney black in the book? Or did I just get that from the narrator of the audio book? I was hoping for Ice Cube. “Guess I gotta grow me some motherfucking potatoes.”

No DLNA Streaming? It doesn’t accept a cable card? How is this company still in business?

Pro Tip: If there is a Napa near the track, they’ll deliver to the pits.

I’m doing 2 track days back to back at NJMSP in 2 weeks with the local Porsche club. $330 gets you an instructor for both days and about 5 twenty min sessions EACH DAY. Take that SCCA Track Night!

If you can make it Trenton, NJ. You can have your fill of pork roll tomorrow at the competitive eating contest being hosted by the Yankees affiliate team.

Uhh, my 09 has a bad window regulator.

I thought the sales stop was just on NEW TDIs.

So, in order to follow this plan, I need to unload the wife’s 09 TDI. What do I do with it? I guess I could store it in the garage and cancel the insurance until the price rebounds. I was hoping to put a track car in there though.

Let me rephrase my question. Does the stop sale order affect the entire inventory of TDIs? Left overs? Used?

I have a 09 with 160k miles on it. I was hoping to unload it soon for a new or lower-mileage version. Does this stop sale order affect the entire inventory at the cheatership?

I reject the use of the word “complication” when we are talking about anything other than a mechanical watch. An app that tells you when your cat took a crap in the litterbox is hardly a complication.

Good idea. They call them VW Gurus around these parts.

I guess I should get the wife’s 09 TDI in ASAP for an outstanding TSB. If this is truly “recall” status, I won’t be able to get the car off the lot without having the ECU reprogrammed. She very much likes her average of 48 MPG.

Well, if it’s anything like their entry into WRC, they’ll win the first race and dominate the whole season. A works-sponsored team in F1 making their own power plants is VERY, VERY welcome.

Can this be converted into double duty as a turn signal? Need to get this thing road legal!

Can we please ask them to put a maximum age on this series? I can only imagine how many 45+ year olds are taking measurements of their belly to see if they can sit in the car and turn the steering wheel. We don’t need the series clogged up with these guys.
