The book was horrible. The wandering around in the shallow end description works nicely for the book too. I've made it through some real stinkers in my lifetime. But, I put this one down around point where he was starting the sniper school after getting out of the Navy.

+1 from another Society memeber! You get a few nice perks there this weekend during the open house.

WOAH! Best news I've heard all year! The amount of bandwidth I chew through downloading recordings of Motors TV could put a small nation on the interweb.

It's the most popular museum in the world. But, Udvar Hazy puts it to shame.

I went to the open house last year at Udvar Hazy and it was fantastic. You'll be amazed at the number of hours that go into these restorations. I spoke to one of the techs about how he fabbed a piece of bent tube steel. If memory serves he spent 80+ hours getting the bend just right. Easily, my favorite museum of all

My good friend and neighbor just leased a Impreza for his 25 year old son. Said son has had beaters all of his driving career (think, never been able to take a road trip). He's had more headgaskets replaced than he's had girlfriends. He took a telemarketing job 20 miles from his apartment and needs reliable

You probably don't want to hear about the $250k gear boxes...

I can't figure out why they didn't make an adapter for this thing to accept a jack stand. These things are fantastic for oil changes and exhaust work. Unfortunately, that's only a small percentage of my wrenching time.

And this kids is why you SHOULD NEVER FUCKING LIFT!!!

The tail lights look like that device that the eye doctor jams into your eyeball to check the pressure of your eye.

2017? So, in GMT (GM standard time), that means we'll see it in 2020?

I hadn't noticed before this video how aggressively Mads' makes his initial turn in. It reminds me a lot of Jari Matti.

Few drivers seem to be as humble and open as Mads. He reminds me of Petter a lot. Heart on the sleeve. You always know what he's thinking and how he feels about his drive. And it's easy to get caught up in his excitement when he is doing well. Between the Sebs, it seems like the top drivers are emotionless these days.

Who the fuck is designing all these horrible bumpers within a bumper for pickups? It looks this truck hit a raised Fusion head on and kept its bumper.

Do you drive around in your car drinking from a Mason jar full of clear liquid?

I have no idea how all these posters manage with just 32 oz of water! Between water for 2 small cups of tea and straight up water drinks, I put down about 42 oz every work day.

"Rarely been airborne."

I'd pay $1000 for the video of his conversation with the BWM service manager. "Out of no where the car started pulling to the left. Can you check the alignment? And all the wheels are vibrating when I hit 10mph. Can you check he balance?"

Ski-Board? Is that attempting to lump two sports into a single activity? Or are they also trying to bring back the monoski?
