Another article that has nothing to do with cars. So much with “Obsessed with the culture of cars.” The name of the website should change to reflect the writer’s obsession with left leaning politics.

This used to be a car website. Now it’s just political and social commentary.

I miss when this site had real automotive journalism and not the bias crap we have today. All the good writers quit a long time ago.

This is automotive journalism now?

This is what happens when a site gets bought up by a private equity firm.

There are connections between many things and car culture. That doesn’t make all those things interesting enough to write a front page article about on a car website. At least it didn’t in the old Jalopnik back when they used to stay on topic.

This site used to be about cars. Now it’s littered with “articles” that are barely tangential to cars and with political/social opinion pieces. All the best writers left long ago.

Excuse my ignorance on the issue, but are women banned from F1? Besides getting more women into racing, what is the reason for a women’s racing series? Can’t they just race with the men?

I was having this problem with Safari for months but hadn’t updated my Mac OS in years. Updating Safari alone was not an option because it was already updated to the latest version available for my OS. Updating the OS also resulted in updating Safari. This was enough to fix the issue for me.

A functional scoop would be nice, but a MANUAL transmission option would be better.

How would it compete with the Focus RS if that car isn’t in production anymore. And please proofread before publishing. Each article on this site has typos and run-on sentences. Are you journalists or bloggers?

Referring the to S2000? I’ve owned both. The two cars are built to a different price point. Plus, the S2000 requires you to rev it to the moon to get any real power. If you don’t you might as well be driving a base Civic. Don’t get me wrong, at the time the S2000 was in a completely different league, but it was much

I had to sue a VW dealership in San Diego when it turned out my “certified” GTI had been in a wreck. They fixed it poorly and hid the accident from me. When I noticed the problems and brought it to their attention, they told me to go kick rocks. I served them and VW of America papers and they caved right away. Sometime

Apparently it doesn’t work on my archaic iPhone 5S... Still not upgrading.

This Dash Cam’s Amazon listing got an F rating on Fakespot’s site. Most likely garbage. Please don’t direct us to junk products.

I’m a bit confused here. The article makes it seem like Saleen building this car is a “phoenix from ashes” story, yet they are building it with foreign capital. They are now a large Chinese owned company that will be building these cars in China. There is nothing small about them. Sure, they’re not as large as the

My understanding was that for 2018 the only Golfs to have digital dashboards in North America are the Golf R and eGolf. Have they now changed their minds and included the GTI as well? Our GTIs are built in Mexico. I believe all European built GTIs will have the digital dashboard or already do.

Even Certified Pre-Owned cars need to be inspected by a third party mechanic. In 2015, I bought a CPO 2015 VW GTI and assumed that it must have been in great shape since it was CPO. Turns out it had been in a bad accident and fixed very poorly. The dealer tried to hide the shoddy work and certified it anyway. Long

I guess that’s egg on my face for being lazy. It’s worth pointing out though that the problem statement and the meme image at the top of the article do not match.

I’d like to add my 2 cents as an aerospace engineer and private pilot. The airplane on the treadmill would not take off because the propeller does not provide airflow over the entire span of the wing, which you need to generate the lift to rise off the ground. It’s true that a plane moves relative the air around it

A VW dealership in San Diego ruined a car experience for me. I bought from them a “certified used” 2015 GTI that I later found out had been crashed beforehand and repaired very shoddily. When I told the dealership that I wanted my money back they basically told me to go kick rocks. When I told them that I’d be taking
