Making turtles sad.

Myst ran beautifully on my Centris 660av.

I'm hoping all 30 coins don't all do the same thing. That could be a fun callback, dealing with whatever new coin power Hawley has unearthed next.

Salon and/or Slate has commented on it, too, usually along with "Scandal" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

It varies a ton depending on locale. I've lived in three states over the last four years: MN, carded about 75% of the time; KY: 50%; WA: .01% (I'm in the very clearly over-21 crowd). The only people I see carded in WA are the ones I'd card myself, and I don't care that much.

He does peevishness so well. It's clever to turn Walter Bishop's peeved that nobody can keep up with his logic into War's peeved that folks just don't understand.

Their DVD inventory is clearly deteriorating. About 15-20% of my queue is in "short wait," "very long wait," or knocked down to the saved section. Catalog titles like Exotica that get lost or damaged aren't getting replaced, especially at the smaller distribution centers (like the one I'm attached to).

Close to 20 years ago I saw a stripper do full peel to Tool's "Sober" and "Prison Sex." Actually, the place had two stages, and each dancer would do two songs that they picked on the first stage, then dance to the next stripper's two songs on the second stage. I'm guessing pretty much everyone hated going on ahead of

Strip club DJs are the worst, absolute worst.

The Village suffered most from his reputation for / obsession with twisty twist endings. When I saw the movie, I for some reason just assumed that (spoilers, whatever) it was taking place "now" and that the village was some sort of anti-modern enclave. I watched it genuinely curious about what made them withdraw so

Sally, obviously, rocks, but most of the other literal siblings are awful. Stick with the figurative ones (to a point). Roger and Don (and Freddy) clash and cooperate like brothers pretty regularly.

A sister that twists your penis until you cry? Eventually condemns you to death? Has anyone resembling you beheaded? Ouch.

You really don't want to know what happens with the All Jug Band.

Some of my favorite closing credits ever, hypnotic.
