The Audi uses a concept that was used on DTM Audis before - flow through. Nissan wants to channel air through the whole car, under the bodywork. That’s quite different from what Audi does to generate downforce. Also Nissan’s whole deal is low drag, Audi is all about downforce. If Nissan wants to succeed, they’ll have

It just shows that their program is underfunded. Name one modern racing team that was successful while being heavily underfunded. Even MercedesGP sucked before 2013, which happens to be the year that Daimler AG gave them more cash.

My exact thoughts. I’d have given them a chance if all they were racing were private Pescarolos, but I on no level can believe that the works teams of Audi, Porsche and Toyota would not have recognized the amazing concept that Nissan is running this year. I like that Nissan is back, but please, build a real race car

There’s a difference between not winning with an extraordinary project and being beaten to shit by smaller category cars - and that’s the prospect they are facing ahead of the race. If their only goal was retweets - mission accomplished.

A worksteam has to start with a hybrid system. So you’re right, Nissan chose 2MJ because it’s the smallest category available. Their current system isn’t working properly, and they are likely to run Le Mans without it powering the wheels.

Well, they did a great job in terms of marketing, no doubt.

Nissan is going to fail spectacularly. It’s a 40 million $, three car project scattered around the globe against the 120 million $ each VAG works teams. Also, their hybrid system is apparently dysfunctional and only stores 2 MJ of energy and Nissan had a tenth of the test mileage the rest of the LMP1 field had.

I think GoPro mount is the explanation. Here are all three pictures that exist of him “uncensored”.

Possible. Making “Whore Ads” out of “Who reads” is sheer genius.

That was literally the best part of this SNL season.

They are rare. Really rare. And therefore they hold quite some collector value. Believe it or not, the W124 series has been experiencing price stability or even rises for desirable, uncommon examples (late T-models, convertibles). Also, there’s the whole “Porsche built the 500E” backstory to it.

This is Europe. We aren’t prude like good old ‘Murica. The sign just depicts some tits and asks the ladies to show their breasts (literal translation: tits out!), so nothing uncommon at festivals or similar.

Any modern, LED equipped Audi. These cars have replaced BMWs as the harassment tool of choice for Autobahn driving.

Really? The Subaru Website said it was. But hey, the more you know...

‘Stralya, fuck yeah.

I think it’s Audi - the R8s starter is theirs, so what are the chances the make the electronics? On the other hand, Glickenhaus has enough dough to just pay Bosch to do work on another engine.

Now the question is which manufacturer is providing the V10. Gated manual makes me think Audi/Lamborghini V10, and with the number of cars produced there surely are engines and transmissions to be bought out there.

Mercedes W140 S-class. The last huge, baroque Mercedes made. It was their old thinking of how cars should be made (heavy and solid) made as modern as necessary.

Bayern is the world’s richest football club. They don’t have any debt and actually have a nice 9-digit sum in the bank. Why would they take on a loan?
