Interesting, I always imagined that manufacturers have to provide fixed mounting points on their own. Of course they can't control what people actually do in the end, but just throwing screws in the back is a bit sloppy.

Hmmm, strange, maybe Pagani also played the "we'll get away with it" card. Although I find it disturbing that a company would act that way.

1) I know, I was just wondering what the rule in general was (and whether there was a general EU rule) and 2) it is apparently legal in Italy.

Oh boy, I wouldn't want to mount a license plate on the Viper. The only reasonable place I see on the front would be the area of the cooling inlets, but that again probably harms the cars function. Where did you mount it in the end?

Didn't know that, although I am German myself. But I am sure that I have seen non 100% vertical placements on some supercars. Like here:

Wait, what was the rule in Germany? I know that it isn't that hard now, you are only not allowed to bend the number plate. Pagani for example mounted their plates on the front splitter:

I don't think a 4 banger 911 is really planned. It would need to cost significantly less than a 6 cylinder boxer, and by doing that Porsche would cannibalize the Cayman/Boxster.

Dude, don't give them ideas! I bet some board member at BMW is pitching a "iX9 Efficient Dynamics Gran Coupe M-Sport X-Drive" right now. And a van has enough surface area in the back to fit the full name in chrome letters.

Exactly. That was a very good analysis. There is a reason why companies like Pagani and Koenigsegg make profit and have their cars sold out - because the super rich of this world want to have "their own" car. A very special car.

Thanks you, exactly my opinion. Take a look at one of the commenter's idea of McLaren somehow paying Glock to move over - complete delusion.

Is that a Cherokee in Road Racing trim and painted like the old AMC Trans-Am cars? I need to know more!

Don't worry, I don't mind as I am passing you pretending to be Sebastien Loeb on a Special Stage, including sporty downshifts and fictive pace notes. #LeGrandeLoeb

Exactly.

You should start getting your facts together before calling someone a "classless chav".

Are you trolling or are you really that ignorant?

The last laps of Interlagos 2008. Not that it was super wet or that the racing itself was super sick, but come on, the tire gamble for the championship was the best F1 finish ever. And Hamilton overtaking Glock in the last corner, Massa being champion for 20 seconds, that was as intense as it could get.

This to me looks like the high downforce package, so it will probably see action in Silverstone, Interlagos and Bahrain.

Still not as sexy as the early prototype TS030.

There is another aeropack that makes the whole thing look better.

Also, Peugeot just announced that they will return with Peterhansel and Sainz in 2015.
