I got Gears of War 4 for PC. Was trying to play it with an Xbox controller. But I just can’t stomach aiming with a thumbstick. It’s too aggravating.

This is the saddest thing I have ever read in my entire life.

Yes yes, I know - there is nothing but Team Blue and Team Red, and Team Blue is good and pure. I get it.

Great to here.

Really wanted to like the original and I quite enjoyed hacking through zombies, but I always found the combination of open-world style and timed events really aggravating. In an open-world game I want to explore at my leisure, but you have to be in the right place at the right time in the original.

What is the evidence for the latter, exactly? Look Trump is a monster. And yes he’s stoking all kinds of terrible sentiment. But liberals have been harping on this “election observers” thing as some sort of completely nefarious phenomenon, and it just isn’t. It’s exactly the kind of narrative that gives fuel to

This “controversy” was about the fact that Trump has election observers. Every campaign has election observers. Yes, Trump says lots of horrific stuff - which is why we don’t need to make stuff up to have reasons to reject him.

Again: please look at some more of the hundreds of comments on this article to find many examples of commenters - many of them men, by the way - who are going beyond just defending her and explicitly praising her record. If you’re not one of them, then I’m not telling you anything at all.

And my comment said that there are people here who are unambiguously praising her. Which means that if you aren’t, you’re not one of the people I was responding to!

I said literally the opposite of that - that you can push back against sexism without draping the victim of that sexism with praise. Why bother to engage at all if you’re just going to claim that I’m saying the exact opposite of what I am saying?

She is a completely mainstream Republican, and the Republican party is a party of racism and bigotry. I’m not interested in whether she’s a self-made woman. I’m interested in whether her policies are good for this country, and the answer to that is absolutely not.

I’ve said this from the beginning: this election has never been close. The fact that very predictable swings in polling, particularly post-conventions, brought the polls close to (but never reaching) a dead heat in fact demonstrates that this election has always been in the bag for Democrats. Remember, Romney was

Literally every campaign does that. The idea that this is some thuggish Trump tactic is just wrong. There’s more than enough wrong with the actual Trump campaign to not have to make shit up.

Absolute classic example of trying to paper over the slowdown in real, meaningful computer innovation by solving a non-existent problem.

No one? Look again. And besides: calling her smart, better educated, and hardworking is exactly the kind of rehabilitation of Republicans that has been a second-order danger of this campaign. It’s incredible to me how Democrats are participating in improving the reputations of awful Republicans in the name of

Really, really depressing to see so many commenters here cheering on this woman who participated in subjecting Muslim Americans to some of the most brutal state-sponsored oppression in the country’s history. It’s perfectly possible to push back against Trump’s sexism without lathering praise on a woman with utterly

Well, see, here’s the other thing.

I hear you.

Maybe because that’s a central plank of Christianity?

you typically need to straddle the line between the 2 big parties, which involves making some concessions on both sides
