Baby town frolics... Try putting plastic EasyDrift tires on the back of an Abarth. Max lat is 0.28G on a 300' circle and then you’re snapping harder than a locked D30 on 44's. Complete in autocross course in one of those without spinning, then you can handle anything.

COTD is rarely funny and usually mildly punny nowadays.

Does nobody remember the 1gn Neon? The engineers we given a lot of freedom on the program and they created a hugely successful, hugely fun, and very affordable car. Granted, running into a seagull could kill everyone in the car, but that’s besides the point.

As a dynamics engineer who works on a new Jeep and dislikes some of the targets I’m required to hit, I don’t know a single dynamics engineer who would recommend un-Wranglering a Wrangler. The problem are the engineers who sit in a cubicle and drive appliances. It’s a job for them and they’re trying to optimize a

My Wrangler get’s better gas mileage than an S4...

Response as a Vrod owner.

Baby town frolics... In my Wrangler I can drop the clutch at idle while towing a Hellcat and not stall.

It can’t be just me, but the high contrast wood in the Lexus looks cheap and not well executed. Even so with the gloss in the Porsche, it looks a hell of a lot better than the glossed over particle board in the Lexus.

I’m right winged and I don’t think any of that...

Can you make a sport bike a cruiser by simply converting to forward controls and higher handlebars?

As a Denim Black Night Rod owner, I wish my bike had power, weight, and tech of the Diavel.

Euro truckers are mental. I spent a week touristing around France during last years LM24 and it was crazy seeing truckers bumper to bumper pulling gears and weaving through regular traffic on the highway. Then in towns seeing the buses maneuver around building, people, and other cars. They don’t slow to down to creep

Why is it the worst rated car on CR also has the highest resale value? Buy a Wrangler, run it hard, sell it for what you paid or more.

I’m pretty sure those are 3000lb retaining wall blocks, so 15000lbs in the back of the truck. I’m suprised it didn’t fold under the weight. After all, it’s only rated to about 1500-2000lbs.

Doesn’t know about Jeeps lol. A rubi with slicks, factory lockers, factory 4.10 gears, factory 4:1 tcase, and and filled to the brim with weight would slowly and very non dramatically pull anything. 73:1 crawl ratio.

As a mechanical engineer, this would have been such a fantastic project to work on. They literally used a cutting rope, like you get in survival kits to cut up trees, to saw a ship into multiple pieces so they could pull it out. So much pressure to not screw up and get it out in time without spill. Congrats to those

I feel pretty terrible for the guy who saved up all his moneis and bought a 2015.

That looks like a kit car made by a guy who once had a Trans Am in high school.

Because those two come together. The manual comes standard with 4.10s, the 4.10 option is only because the auto now comes standard with 3.73s. So if you click the box 4.10, it’s going to switch to auto.

All wranglers are 4x4. A Rubicon can be had for 34k. A fully loaded 4D Hard Rock is 50k
