A couple of years ago, Adam Levine made some assinine comment on Twitter about celebrities "selling out" and having perfume deals, etc. I called him on it, he responded calling me a hater, and his teeming horde bombarded me with NastyTwitter-ness.

Personas are used to determine your likely purchases and choices, so your selections are very helpful to brands.
Taking care of your skin at an early age, not washing out treatments you spent money on, and making sure you don't look like you got dressed in the dark seem reasonable to me.
Which are the dumb ones?
I think it's fine for you to feel it out and see if maybe she does want to talk about it. Does she know your history? I don't see why it's bad to try and help someone with a burgeoning weight problem-you'd help her if she was heading down any other destructive path.
Seriously. I've just started back watching the Today show in the mornings while I'm idly doing other things-and he has really gotten bad. Al seems over it as well.
Wow, that article was sad. Thanks for linking to it.
I think maybe you are projecting just a tad maybe? Is it truly pervasive in the lexicon, or have you just been accused of it more than once?
Indeed, we live in different worlds. In mine, I have to unfortunately deal with adults who don't take seriously their professional responsibility. Shit has consequence, and adults should take that into serious account once they enter the grownup world.
I was 8 days overdue and had a breach baby and at no time was I bullied into a c-section. I ended up delivering at 10 days past my due date, vaginal, with zero complications. Is this posting a bit of alarmist journalism geared toward naive and anxious women who might not understand things?
I slut-shame the stupid, yes. And the stupid lose their jobs when they do stupid things. Welcome to the adult world where shit has consequence.
No, maybe he could, though. Or, perhaps if you are in the grown-up world you've encountered one like it. Basically, it says don't do fucking stupid shit on company resources.
Wow, you spent an assload of time on this. You're still wrong. He violated his professional contract. End of story.
Not judging you, but you are totally judging a book by its cover. Since he has no way of 'striking you' beyond how he looks, who's to say that he's not some dyed-in-the-wool romantic?
Is screwing students your do-not-cross line for teachers? He misused school resources and he opened up his co-teacher to punishment by doing so. He violated his employment contract. The fact that you personally don't condemn his end-goal has nothing to do with the fact that he was unprofessional.
So you are saying that because he wasn't kept from fucking up and being unprofessional he should get a pass for fucking up and being unprofessional?
You don't have to be vicious if you're being fed dead human.
This is the way I feel right now about the current onslaught of programs to teach children how to deal with bullying. There is literally an ongoing weekly seminar at our middle school. But not a single session to teach people how to not raise shitheads.
No, but we know a lot of those as well. In fact, both of my children are named after long-dead grandparents and their names are 'hot'. But they are Tweens, so those names weren't so popular in the early 00s.
I experienced that when I went from working in the office to full-time remote. My calves would ache and instantly feel better if I had on a heel. Fortunately that stopped, because I probably shouldn't wear heels and yoga/pajama pants.
