that's why I went to PC sims. Rfactor for the win. (Free cars)

you win the internet today! I've never been happier to see a smart car lol

car throttle is my guilty pleasure. It's total crap, and the average readership can't tell the difference between a roots type super charger, and a screw type, but occasionally it's fun for mindless entertainment.

yep, fiat did the same thing, it only succeeded in persuading me never to buy from those brands

I was amused until I saw the commercial. Now I'm not amused. Also, could you ungrey me bro?

sitting on a lift at school, while I decide the amount of sound deadening/ insulation I can take out while still surviving Canadian winters, with all the suspension in my garage, waiting to be rebushed and reinstalled

or you go back to high school after you've already graduated for a semester, and use their tools and knowledge to work on your crap bimmer...

Pissing off purists is fun with a BMW. Pissing on a Ferrari's engine is sacralige. There is a difference.

inconsistent turn in is my biggest confidence reducer. I've only raced 4 stroke karts, but when it's cold and wet, I hate it because I have no idea if the kart is going to turn, or send me into whatever is tangential to my heading. What's it like going from karts to cars? I'm building my first car right now, and plan

Momentum and inertia are a real bitch in a skid like that. I don't think the skid was intentional, and the rear engined nature of the car turns it into basically a hammer toss when it gets unintentionally side ways. What did him in was the hard jerk around the BMW while braking.

looks to me like a very late braking that may have worked on the racing line (50% more traction) that was tried on the green part of the track. They also unbalanced the car so that there was less weight transfer to both front wheels that do up to 70% of the braking. Finally he locked up the brakes, meaning he overcame

Our Cx5 just did that :) it's a damn good CUV, even though it's a first off the line 2.0 4wd

they have a bore limit like formula one, and like you said for the most part they have stabized in layout, with the occasional odd duck. They do have a cool rule that allows non manufacturer teams to change rules to allow them to lower costs while still being competitive. There is a good Wikipedia article on it.

Do you know what happens to an ls series motor, under high G cornering? let's just say oil pooling in the cylinder bank, 2 hour max life. Plus, push rods in F1 makes a bit of vomit come up. Works for murican indycar, but not good enough for snobby European racing. http://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c6-z06-…

look at moto gp. All one displacement, but a wide variety if engine cylinder numbers, and designs. While you would not have a 4 litre 4cyl, you could have a 2 liter V12, taking advantage of the small crank throws, for revs, or a v8 with longer throws for more torque. Engineering is al about fining the best compromise

you need a mumy bag. No gas required in the car, and if you get a good one packs up into the size of a foot ball for -10*C weather.

technically, the restrictions are what have killed Caterham through costs for an stupidly expensive drive train, and bad management of series funds by F1. It's not the same as removing a restrictor plate, as the car is allowed on the grid with the capability to exceed the fuel fuel allotment, in the first place.

I think the best way for Caterham to thank the fans, would be to toss the rule book aside, and drive at the absolute limits of the car for the entire race, not giving a care about tire wear, or fuel usage. Give the fans some real racing, while giving Bernie, and the FIA the middle finger.

Crashes happen, especially when on slippery surfaces, and unknown routes. Spectators were dumb for standing on the out side of a corner.

it looks like morse code. To bad I can't read morse code
