I loved Rubicon, but I disagree. I actually think that the show ending at one season suited it well.

Exactly.. Jump scares are cheap. That being said, Requiem for a Dream is a straight up horror movie for me.

The Thing will never not be upsetting to me. I still have to watch the dog scene through my fingers. I also think the movie is purposely illogical when it comes to who is or isn’t the thing, and when they did or didn’t become the thing. Like maaaybe you can map it out, but you’d have to make some guesses and I bet

The first Blair Witch Project in theaters is my #1. I understand why some people don’t find it scary, but for me it was the perfect convergence of scary historical subject matter, “real” feeling execution, and the fact that I grew up camping in the woods in CO. I had trouble sleeping for a few weeks after I saw it.
