Volunteers was a god awful not funny movie, except for two scenes that practically overlapped that were some of the funniest comedy ever. Tom Hanks with the local blackmarketeer and John Candy brainwashed by the Red army. You can find them on YouTube and ignore the rest of the movie.

I prefer subtitles over dubbing. This has been opinion. Thank you.

That was one thing the movie did perfectly: It knew when to end it. I thought to myself “end it NOW”, and it did, and that is rare. It could work if they did a story in the expanded “Quiet Place” universe with a new cast in a different place doing things differently, but when we know how the creatures can be beaten it…
