This is pretty much the crux of our disagreement. My opinion, based on history and experience, is that a nation of motivated low-level sociopaths do a better job than a nation of bureaucrats.

But on the plus side, in this system, it’s possible (although still unlikely) for anyone to be one of those people with the grimy hands.
