Every kindle post is inevitibly overtaken by people debating if you should get it, or what it lacks (color? seriously? are you stupid?). Why is that? People don't endlessly debate whether or not to buy a camera when the latest RED camera comes out...

@hugehead: There is nothing missing from the Korean language that prevents sarcasm, just the Korean culture. And when you realize that you realize your question is really "Why are cultures so different?"

This reminds me of Snow Crash, language manipulating mind and all that. I speak a few languages and I would disagree with that point, culture affects your mind way more than language ever could. Languages are a product of culture, not the other way around. This article and researcher mistake causation with

@maniaq: I would disagree with you there. I would say most stories written are not about people being left behind while their machines race ahead.

It would be nice if io9 would work their interweb magic and get that comic up and going again. youknow, cause they do stuff like that sometimes, right?

@Zach W. R. Mollett: Maybe you don't deserve to live long, I do though. I am awsome.

My company published a Sci Fi/Murder Mystery story and you would not think that mashup would work, what with the mystery happening in a fictional environment, but it really works. It is all in the presentation.

Some of these are super bombs that I have never even heard of.

I do not know of a single scientific fact or principal that has not been misproven or altered throughout the years. With our current understanding of the world an ansible is impossible, but I would be surprized if that did not change a few decades from now. Our understanding of the world is constantly changing and I

@n3onkn1ght: It helps to read the whole article. Magneto and Xavier are both much younger in this movie, he cannot play them.

There is a correlation and some say causation between video game players and premature ejaculation. Kotaku readers, you know who you are.

@Arken: It is the best ebook reader available, who cares if it does PDF poorly? Ebooks come in better formats than that. Even if you hate the Kindle, sales numbers alone can make it the best ereader available.
