As someone who grew up before the fall of the Berlin Wall, it’s quite baffling to see U.S. conservatives embracing Russia and its leadership. 90% of the reason they love Reagan is that “he stood up to the Russians.” Well, no duh, so did every president from Truman to Obama, with the possible exception of Dubya.

It’s like everything he does is a violation of ethical conduct.
