I’m a casual NBA fan, but I love the NBA draft. I used to be all about the NFL draft - settle in early on a Saturday, weave in and out throughout the day - but that’s so bloated now that I basically check live blogs to see who went where. Much like their sports, the NBA draft is faster and more self-aware. 

Would the article be written, and would the response differ, if she a different faith? I suspect so. I’m atheist and think it’s all nuts, but I find the different reactions just as crazy.

In third grade, I wrote the following poem:
