Note on those portable A/C’s: Check out the filter sizes before you buy. I bought one maybe 10 years ago and it worked very well for our bedroom, but when it came time to replace the filter I could not find that custom-sized filter ANYWHERE other than the manufacturer’s website for $50 each.
