Just to put things in perspective.

Exactly.

No, tall grass is right. You’re judging by an irrelevant metric. Popular vote is not the metric by which we elect our president in this system, so harping on the fact that Hillary won the popular vote is meaningless. The whole point of the electoral college system is to tip the scales away from massive population

counter-argument: hillary is a bad candidate. Only winning the popular vote by 3 mil and losing the electoral college outright to Donald Fucking Trump and his band of bumbling rejects and racist assclowns means you are a bad candidate.

Shit, someone should really let them know about the electoral college before elections.

That is by far and away not the problem. If you want to know what is wrong with them look at their policies, practices, and actual actions. You will find that they are radically inconsistent with each other if you look at what they actually do. The one thing that is consistent among Democrats these days is an

Before I even read any of the comments.

So tired of the popular vote argument. It is such a red herring. It’s like arguing your team should have won the game because they had more passing yards.

Sadly, this is as close as many cyclists will ever come to wearing a yellow jersey…

If a license plate is for vehicle identification then it totally makes sense to have a front plate. But if states cared about easy vehicle identification they wouldn’t offer 30 variations on their plates (narrows gaze at Florida).

I know, I know....it’s just a joke. But you wouldn’t see a Runway 28A.

“strong religious social opposition to things like birth control, abortion, sex ed, and women’s health in general. Sure, all of those are artifacts of the former rule of white supremacist colonialism”

Or get draconian about enforcing carry-on size and gate-checking. Swear that every flight I’m on, at least a quarter of the people are trying to stuff friggin’ body bags up there.

I know, right! The airlines should let checked bags go for free and charge for the use of the overhead compartments.

“I’m just gonna move your bag 4 rows back.”

Also, the other thing: people behind you will not stop to let you get up and get out and get your stuff. If there’s an opening, the folks behind you will take it and keep on moving.

Also, by getting up, it allows the people in the middle/window seat some extra space, to gather their stuff, get organized, etc.

Carry ons are a big part of the problem (boarding and exiting). Ive been travelling by plane for over 40 years now and the as the amount of s&*t people carry goes up the process for getting on and off gets slower and uglier. I know margins are tight, but for the love of all that is holy airlines please allow people
