Seriously, as if it wasn’t bad enough when it was just FCA, now they are pulling in the goddam french. Although I wouldn’t mind Chrysler just being rebadged Peugeots + the Pacifica.

If they go to a Jeep dealer and are able to buy a Wagoneer that fits their desires and budget, I don’t think they’ll mind much.
Indeed, the S550 has been everything the first IRS Mustang should have been.
By the second gen, GM had stopped using that Honda V6 so the Vue V6 used the 3.6-liter High Feature V6 thats used in damn near every GM vehicle sold in the US.
Sport on any CUV is an oxymoron anyway.......
You mean a unibody car isn’t literally related to a BOF car that it shares a brand name designation with?
The new Bronco is based on the next-gen Ranger platform, not the F150.
Yea I forgot about that detail. Saturn neutered the Redline for the second gen Vue. The first gen was actually a performance trim with the Honda sourced V6 but then it became just an appearance package like you mentioned. Its not special if all the other trims have the option of the more powerful engine.
“...identical to the regular Santa Fe in every aspect, just with a shorter wheelbase.”
There are some sedans where the Sport trim or Sport package are actually more “sporty” than other trims.
This isn’t new, right?
There’s now the Bronco Sport which many people claim is an Escape cosplaying as a Bronco.
The “sport” designation almost never means “Motorsport.” In fact, I can’t think of any brand where the really fast one is designated “sport.”
Doesn’t Jeep use “Sport” for low spec models?
What about the Range Rover Sport?
I’m gonna call it now: A bunch of unfunny internet hack commenters making “Cars and Coffee” references that were already tired 8 years ago but unoriginal people keep repeating.
I’m gonna call it now: your 500 hp Mustang GT is here.
