If you’re trying to persuade car manufacturers to change over to EV’s why would you invite someone who only builds EV’s.  That one is already mission accomplished.  But Stellantis still doesn’t sell a single EV in North America, they need to be persuaded.  Ford and GM probably need some encouragement as well.  

The insane people that originally thought a two speed automatic was good enough thought that a 3 speed automatic was 50 % better.  When they switched to a 4 speed automatic the improvement was only 33 %.  They had to switch to a 6 speed automatic to get the same 33 % improvement.

The improvement in antifreeze solutions makes such a difference to the rust level in the cooling components.  That used to be a huge problem.

We used to have overheating issues nearly every trip to the mountains.  I haven’t had overheating since I drove cars built in the early 80's.

You do still have brake pads, etc., but you don’t have to use them much since most of the braking is regenerative through the motors.
