Based on what evidence?

Just buy a Maverick Hybrid.  You’ll save so much money on the purchase price and with the amount of miles you put on, you’ll hardly ever need to fuel up.

I’m glad that this car didn’t take the current corporate Mercedes Benz look.  This one actually has a good looking front end, like a Hyundai Kia electric.  Current Mercedes Benz models have the most “Meh” looking front end of any current luxury cars.  Isn’t it about time that “Meh car” Mondays return?

The only way that a non-running car would be worth 47 ooo plus is if it was a beauty like some of the Duesenberg’s of the past. Our local Museum has one that was bought for several million and was donated to our museum; it is one of the stars of the museum. I too watched Magnum PI and admired his 308, but not so much

More like the 20teens.  Toyota, Lexus, and Honda have some particularly awful examples.  Lately BMW has gotten in on the act, while Mercedes fronts simply lack any of the class their cars used to have.

I hope you’re wrong about traditional auto shows.  Although I like the videos and articles of new car reveals, nothing compares to wandering the halls of a major auto show to see how vehicles actually compare.  As soon as the Edmonton show returns I will be attending.

Just don’t you dare carry 105 ml of toothpaste rather than 75, because toothpaste is really dangerous.

Add to it that no one in the South has winter tires (why would they, it rarely ever gets cold enough for Winter tires to be the better option.) and driving in these conditions is extremely hazardous.

Fine, let them riot, but pass the law.

It seems to me that your “experts” didn’t ever read the full e-mail. The guy is tall and doesn’t want a compact that he doesn’t think he’ll fit in. He mentioned the compacts as cars he’d rather not want and yet all of the suggestions are even more compact than the cars he doesn’t want. How about a first generation

In Canada you can only go coast to coast if you stick to the Trans Canada highway.  Other major routes still don’t offer fast charge options in many places, especially in Western Canada.

True.  Yet the benefit of having such a range extender is that you don’t need a second vehicle.

“Negligent homicide” is not murder per se, but something is called negligent homicide when someone is not following the prescribed rules and as a result someone dies.  In this case the cops were not following the prescribed rules and someone died, which is the textbook definition of negligent homicide.  I don’t know

The kid was 13 and riding a dirt bike. Where I come from that’s a fairly common thing.  Many of them do do stupid things.  These cops are supposed to be trained professionals and know the rules of “engagement.”  They didn’t follow their own rules and you want to blame the kid.  I feel bad for the cop, but they were

All the more reason not to watch those racing shows.

The benefit of a rotary engine would be the small size which means that if you have just a cubic foot or so you’d have enough space for this engine.  You’d still need space for the gas tank as well.

This one almost certainly has had the seats redone.  I’m sure they weren’t as nice from the factory.  Others have commented that they were junk when new, but at 4500 in today’s inflated dollars it isn’t a bad thing for the price.  Nice Price.

I don’t think that a 200 mile range will ever be long enough for long distance driving.  I’ve driven from Edmonton, Alberta to Grand Rapids, Michigan and back numerous times and done it in approximately 30 to 38 hours.   There’s no way you could do that in any electric vehicle today legally.  Even within my home

All I can say is that China and Korea are currently advancing automotive design and technology at a quicker rate than the USA.  I’d drive some of the Chinese vehicles over some of the North America sold vehicles today if given the choice.

Around here I see almost as many Broncos, Bronco Sports, and Mach E’s combined as Tesla’s combined.
