Everyone’s bringing up Google Reader, but the Google service I miss most is Start. The customizable Start page that let you put EVERYTHING you could possibly need on one page, or two pages, or a whole stack. It was wonderful. I never understood why they shut it down.

If the bills are confusing it’s not because of the doctors. They don’t control the coding and billing procedures. The codes are only less confusing to doctors because they have to use them regularly but the rules are incredibly complicated and they are always changing. Insurers might even impose their own coding…
