LOL, these two are like two ugly cats fighting in a bag. You know it’s wrong, but you have to look anyway.  But then, who is the fool? They get PAID to do this dung.

The last implementation of an old technology (in this cast, friction braking) is often demonstrably superior to new technology (conversion of kinetic energy of movement to electrical energy, such as when you lift off your foot to coast in a Prius and it recharges the battery)

My son, who was considering a new Buick Regal Tour x (we had wagons growing up) wrote off ALL of GM when they announced the layoffs. Period. Now looking at Honda.

Likely mid to high 40s mileage out of this skyactive X- the magic sauce is NOT the hybrid part but the entire paradigm shift in the combustion process. IF this is successful, and I HOPE it is, the whole paradigm of gasoline combustion engines is subject to change and will.

Harley HAS to change to survive. Currently their “Loyal customers” are aging and dying out of the market. Compounding the fact are some really crappy dealers who like to focus more on the “Culture” than the ride. Add to the fact that some Harley rides are over 40k now, and that quality is NOT always the highest

That big ol’ booty is not so cutey! Sure hope the new Corvette sets the bells ringing, but for now, for me, this set off some alarm bells.

Soichiro Honda was BAD ASS. It’s funny that there is little biographical information available about his life, at least in the USA. No big books like Iacocca or Lutz have written. I guess he let his work do the talking....

The 95 octane idea is one whose time has come, and is likely soon to be behind us. Mazda’s spark mediated HCCI has a compression ratio of some 16 to 1 and uses 87 octane fuel.

Sorry, Hillary lost, so did you- get over yourself, the rest of us have.

The justice system does not serve justice, it delivers a CHANCE at justice. OJ may have gotten away with murder, but the God who made the universe knows the truth, and will NEVER be fooled.

Available at any drug store, walmart, etc. Works in minutes

Next logical step perhaps? Weight of this was around 4300 lbs. Wonder if GM could update this, bring it back and give it the 3.6 engine standard with an optional v-8?

If you WANT upgraded helmets get the Snell level tested helmet, well worth the bones. Anything that makes helmets even MORE expensive is going to increase the number of folks who won’t wear ANY helmet at all. We bikers are 17, yes SEVENTEEN times more likely to die than cagers (those in vehicles). We ARE the crush

What was that horrid noise?LOL

Thank you for that article. Very interesting, and I did not know this.

My son JUST got his temps at 15 and a half. Oh boy is this appropriate!

Well written, very interesting, and likely a tip of the hand that Mazda may really be doing some very clever engineering to keep the ICE viable for some years to come. The last evolutions of old technology is OFTEN equal to, or greater than, the evolution of newer technology supplanting it. Such appears to be the case

Excellent investigative work! The main focus on manufacturing is...getting product out the door. If there is miscommunication, mislabeling or some other modern systems failure there is still production to be taken to account. Ford is likely, at this point, doing individual repairs and does NOT want to do a recall.

Sorry Patrick, you either made this one up, or someone is jerking YOUR gerkin. This “Story” has all the hallmarks of BS- An “outstanding mother” doesn’t risk her kids finding out that mommy was the star in “Grandma got run over by three reindeer” (And gave santa and the elves a BJ) If this WERE true, why not suggest
