Robert, you raise some valid points. I agree with you that most people don't have the situational awareness to long survive on the streets on a motorcycle. We are all going to die at some time, by something. Yet, imho, not all of us really get to live. Riding makes me feel very alive. I waited until I was older and my kids mostly raised to take up riding. Something I wanted to do all my life.

This is a GREAT idea that I hope will come to pass in American cities. As a motorcyclist who has almost been killed by drivers texting and diddling with their cell phone it is past time for folks to either drive or text, not both.
