Thank you for explaining that! All the articles I’ve seen just say “valve heater” which makes no damn sense without context.

As a Democrat I can easily pick holes in Republican’s actions, but it’s not like Democrats are innocent here. I think the “but look at them!” argument is used waaaaay too often and prevents Democrats from acknowledging and fixing flaws.
Because the dems want to stay in power and this will result in them losing a significant amount of power in the upcoming elections.
Yup, every time gas just gets expensive I just move closer to everything and get a job that I can walk to.
Bring a Tractor
I love the dad vibes of that first photo. Able to perform semi complex mechanical repairs on a sweet care, but still takes photos with your fingers in the image.
Relative to the human losses and what else is being destroyed, this is minor, but as somewhat of an aviation buff, it does sadden me. I did have the pleasure of seeing it in flight 1 time. It was close to 20 years ago, but I just happened to be outside as it was on its decent into Rickenbacker Airport on the outskirts…
More like going out with a sad, indifferent trombone.
Rory, this is obviously a heartfelt piece and I appreciate that. As with almost everything you publish here, it’s very well done.
I read this quote initially as being about Jalopnik and it was much funnier that way.
Exactly. I don’t want to pay an insane amount of money for gas, but if we are on the brink of a full scale war, we might need the oil we have in our reserves. Dipping into it so we don’t feel too much pain at the pump when Putin decides to risk WW3 doesn’t make any sense to me.
I’m fairly sure one day I’ll end up writing:
My Wife And I Own A Couple Of Dozen Cars, The City Isn’t Happy About It
Small cars are at odds with everything else they want. I think they will be much happier with a longer wheelbase. No time for looking up pricing but this seems like a great job for a Lexus ES or if they want to be different a Buick.
USPS has estimated mileage based on their use cycle, not the typical EPA cycle. The Metris vans they are currently running get only 6.3mpg, much lower than 19/23 rating from the EPA.
Eh, its more of a Shelbyville idea, anyway.
There’s zero chance that license is a legit OEM or Retail version of Office. It’s almost certainly part of a volume license program, which is reselling generated keys that violates Microsoft’s volume licensing EULA.

Good thing it’s sarcasm.
What is the purpose of this post? FSD is bad, not robust to practical conditions & snow? Yup agreed.
