The source story quotes a neighbor as saying it was probably the kid’s idea, and as a former 13 year old boy, that tracks. Hell, I’d have offered to ride in the trunk when perfectly healthy to avoid dealing with my mom, and that was before smartphones.
Does anyone have addresses for this family? I would like to start a GoFundMe to fund mailing them each a bag of dicks to eat for their criticisms.
This is one of those posts where it's a distinct possibility the poster is so good at parody that I can't tell whether it was meant to be a parody of an idiotic post.
Lotus having a rebuilding year seems like a foregone conclusion. Their website for the Emira still looks like they cobbled it together for a class project.
Mine flail. Slightly modified to not hit the tracks or rail bed, of course.
It doesn’t say they didn’t contribute to those.
Depends on your definition of “mass produced.” If it comes with a specialty signifier (M for BMW, AMG for MB, etc.) I wouldn’t include it. So, despite being versions of the same engine, I would say the 2.0T at 252 in the Accord is Honda’s top, because the 300+ in the Civic is in an R badged car.
Truth be told, I hear this song every time they're discussed.
That is a weird way to tell people you're a double amputee.
If it hasn’t been covered previously, an explainer of what LaGrange points are, why it’s sitting in one and why they’re where all interplanetary ships will likely be built might benefit this continued coverage.
Was a weird “uncle” involved that you later discovered was not really your relative?
I’m not sure I trust the opinion of fish kissers.
A mild hybrid system via an alternator/motor combo can work with any ICE drivetrain. The Saturn Vue and a few others used this type. Dirt cheap compared to a Prius type system.
Is it a Ford? Our rental Fusion regularly freaked out over that.
All that said, automatics still suck.
What would they be automatically doing, in most cases? Staying in their 1 gear?
Nah, the “blocked” 4 have built in wire pullers, that frequently fail with age. My dad did his a couple months ago, no manifold removal involved, just lots of cursing.
These seem to be synonymous with the drop and hook trucking companies. Less of a concern if you’re keeping the rig together from stop to stop.
Not necessarily. My truck’s manual specifies that plugs are to be changed based on mileage, not age. It’s unusual to drive less than 8K a year, but not unheard of.
