They do, but this is the 4.7. The Hemis at least were nice enough to put both plugs in the top, and change them every 30K. The 4.7 has 8 on top you change every 30K, then they shoved another set into the exhaust manifold area that gets replaced at 102K.

The 8 series is definitely a midsize tractor. We have an 8235R to pull the planter and grain cart. It also pulls small tilling/ripping tools if we have the spare manpower to run it. Otherwise the 4WD does all that.

We have them on the interstate in some parts of IL, but they’re inset, not above the road bed. When it snows, they cease to exist.

5th gear: JD is showing some shortcomings in their development if they’re launching a midsize autonomous tractor that’s limited to doing big tractor work. It would see larger adoption if the launched a 4WD for tilling or a midsize for planting.

That's how ours were before high speed rail. Now they block fully across, up to 4 lanes downtown, which involves a fairly neat hinged arm that folds out. The only way to drive around them is off-road.

Do they not have gates that block all lanes on these crossings? We only have 85mph Amtrack here, and that’s what they upgraded all of ours to before authorizing that change. There's also fencing and separate pedestrian gates.
