What would they be automatically doing, in most cases? Staying in their 1 gear?

Nah, the “blocked” 4 have built in wire pullers, that frequently fail with age. My dad did his a couple months ago, no manifold removal involved, just lots of cursing.
These seem to be synonymous with the drop and hook trucking companies. Less of a concern if you’re keeping the rig together from stop to stop.
Not necessarily. My truck’s manual specifies that plugs are to be changed based on mileage, not age. It’s unusual to drive less than 8K a year, but not unheard of.
They do, but this is the 4.7. The Hemis at least were nice enough to put both plugs in the top, and change them every 30K. The 4.7 has 8 on top you change every 30K, then they shoved another set into the exhaust manifold area that gets replaced at 102K.
Ugh, I need to do the lower 8 on my truck. Whatevs, it’s only 5K overdue.
I would say I was being facetious, but sarcasm is often mined from the same ore.
It’s not my fault most of the old world doesn’t capitalize on economies of scale.
Sounds like you’re a bit too caught up with internal classification vs real world. If I park the 8235 next to the 9460 and ask 100 farmers which one is the large tractor, you’re not going to get enough “both of them” responses to be on the board for the Family Feud.
I am shocked, shocked! to learn the mouthpiece for this particular cryptocurrency is apparently a humongous douche.
Ok. This just confirms you guys have entirely different terminology for headlight use. We dim our brights. I have previously not heard regular lights called main beams, nor anything being dipped.
The 8 series is definitely a midsize tractor. We have an 8235R to pull the planter and grain cart. It also pulls small tilling/ripping tools if we have the spare manpower to run it. Otherwise the 4WD does all that.
Sure, these can be seen from a distance, but you don't get to sniff marker fumes like doing it the old fashioned way.
I am confused on the headlight complaint. Do you mean they didn't shut off their brights, or do drivers across the pond habitually shut their lights off for oncoming traffic?
We have them on the interstate in some parts of IL, but they’re inset, not above the road bed. When it snows, they cease to exist.
5th gear: JD is showing some shortcomings in their development if they’re launching a midsize autonomous tractor that’s limited to doing big tractor work. It would see larger adoption if the launched a 4WD for tilling or a midsize for planting.
Came here to bemoan the styling that was clearly a canceled 200 refresh.
Perhaps they were attempting to alert his family he was no longer in possession of the mental faculties necessary to drive, in a very roundabout way?
They never had his money to give back.
The interior definitely looks remodeled based on materials. Probably a good idea to hit the scale and confirm that 975, because it’s not unusual for that to swell substantially in such situations.
