That's how ours were before high speed rail. Now they block fully across, up to 4 lanes downtown, which involves a fairly neat hinged arm that folds out. The only way to drive around them is off-road.

Do they not have gates that block all lanes on these crossings? We only have 85mph Amtrack here, and that’s what they upgraded all of ours to before authorizing that change. There's also fencing and separate pedestrian gates.

It's a lot easier to get rich selling to stupid people than smart ones.

Unless there’s a big loophole that was just discovered, good luck getting anything on ag/farm plates registered for the road. If you get caught driving it in Michigan for non-farm purposes they get to fine you and potentially revoke them entirely.

The Manheim Index has really expanded a lot over the years. When they started it was limited to steamrollers.

The primary advantage is that bad batteries of any age are identified and removed from the pool. It doesn’t matter if your car is brand new if the battery is a dud.

This information is either wildly inaccurate, or excludes antique vehicle registrations. Source: On a whim my parents took their Spitfire to a Triumph meetup a few years ago and were surprised more than 200 showed up. At one meet in Central IL.
