Come on, you know that we would fork out even more money for a collector’s edition with the figures and booklet included with the Japanese limited edition!

Thanks for bringing PSPPP to my attention. We might have something there...
You summed it all up! I have a feeling that it’s a silly fear as well. ;) Maybe the VC revival will convince me to reconsider my position, even though I remember that it didn’t seem too go that smoothly back then. Know of a good step-by-step tutorial, pretty please?
really hope raita is back for the character designs
That might be a disservice to those who will discover the series, imho. The smaller and repetitive game areas in VCII made for a good game experience on the PSP, but it was nonetheless a downgrade, compared to the PS3 game. Still, even though VCIII seems close to VCII in its technical aspects, I’d like to see it…
If VC comes untouched, without any additional content, localization is almost a given (every asset already exists). And, fingers crossed here, if the first game is released in the West, it would be a pity not to capitalize on a common announcement/launch, à la Gravity Rush.
Hurray! I know it’s only wishful thinking, but it would be so sweet to have VCIII localized. I wouldn’t even ask for a Vita port, the PSP version would be enough, Dear Sega.
I have both and I confirm CycloneFox’s words. The original PCH-1000 series has become my Japanese PSN account console, while the slim PCH-2000 (Gundam edition) is my default choice, for my local PSN account. Sure, the OLED screen shines on the older one, but as long as you don’t have both screens side by side, you…
In more recent games, I would throw in Steins;Gate, and even though I’ve just received it, I expect a lot from Corpse Party: BloodDrive.
Maybe, maybe not...
Couldn’t believe what I read either! How can you get an expert opinion from guys who clearly have no idea what they’re talking about?
Looks like those stuffed thingies were a HK creation, though.
I like my game collection, so I’ll wait for the collector’s edition with one box per game. Thank you.
Cant imagine what a Kotaku Fish on the loose is up to...
It’s beautiful. It makes my lunch so disappointing, now, after such food porn...
Thanks for educating our good friend, I started writing a similar post, and thought “why bother?”
I see your point, but if you look at the big franchises, the Vita had Uncharted, Killzone, and WipEout (like the PSP). It could lure some players with its own CoD (crappy one, from what I heard), but that’s not the Vita story.
You’re right. For long trips, food is perfectly allowed, even in Japan. You can order meals from the stewardesses, or even better, buy your ekiben in the station before you leave (eki means railway station, and ben is short for bento).
I did nothing special, really. It’s quoted as Vita-compatible on the European PSN, and it just works as intended, from what I’ve seen. I still haven’t played it on the Vita though (it’s in my ever-growing gaming backlog), but buying it a second time was an act of support for both the Vita and VC. Still, I’m afraid to…
