It's not a first effort though. I thought it was great and it definitely wasn't boring. Everybody commenting on it here should add if they watched it in the horrific dubbed version or the original subbed version.

Excellent point! And you can definitely see this trend propagated in US society. Physical prowess and beauty is coveted much more than intellectual ability. Which is sad.
