The southern salt-marshes of Denmark and Northern Germany are "famous" for this phenomenon. It's called Black Sun or Sort Sol in Danish. It occurs every spring and fall. Up to a million starlings have been seen in one flock.

So in your opinion failure can only be measured in profitability? What about failure to produce a good movie- artistically, plot wise etc?

@AraRichards: I am guessing here, but was this the image you were going for?

Aha. And why are they calling it Akira again then? Right.

Why not Kennedy and Teddy?

I posted this above as well:

@AdoraBelle: They are all men because earlier isolation studies in Russia went badly wrong because the men couldn't stay away from the women. Specifically on incident on New Years Eve in 1999, where the russian commander tried to French kiss a Canadian scientist. It all ended with fist fights and the Canadian and

China WAS known for making cheap knock offs of toys, designer clothing and VCRs. This is a space station we're talking about.

I am pretty sure this will be sorted out in post. I mean the guy spent four years filming in 20 countries making the Fall - for his own money. I have a hard time believing he'll just throw his convictions out the window for this one.

But Pam is vain, a tramp and totally sexed up. I want the vampires that are predators. Living in hiding because they are few and cannot withstand a united humanity. Like the Korean "Thirst" [www.imdb.com] or Let the Right One In. Oh and of course the two Nosferatu films. (Maybe the Herzog one got a little too weird.)

No.

Wait! What about George R.R. Martins Fevre Dream? That was the only vampire novel I have ever enjoyed. Well with the exception of Peter Watt's Blindsight - but that really wasn't about vampires.

Agreed. I loved Fevre Dream. It sounds ridiculous, but Fevre Dream is the most realistic vampire novel I've ever read. It's also the best.

Just because some products/machines from China failed it doesn't mean they wouldn't have failed if they were built somewhere else. Do you remember Columbia and Challenger? What about the Concorde? What about the F-22, The Osprey and thousands of other prototypes built and engineered in the west that have failed while

Because of bad experiences with mixed crews. It's not that they think women can't do the job, it's that they don't trust the men to leave the women alone. At least that's the official explanation. Read up on the original Mars 500 experiment and how their New Years Eve party got ugly.

Yeah. Every product out there today is shit. Because you do realise that almost everything today is MADE IN CHINA??!! China's problem has been and still is know how and innovation. Their increasing standard of living and education will sort that out soon enough. Who are you gonna whine to when they start outsourcing

The same manual that clearly says - that on internet trolls you should aim for their relatively small brain and/or penis.

That has to be one of the dumbest comments I've ever read. Seriously, I don't think I'll ever get those five seconds of my life back. What exactly is this guy trying to say? That he is a complete moron?
