@klyph: What a nice story. I don't know why, but it put a smile on my face.

Now playing

This reminds me of Italian Spiderman - in a good way! Although it was on another level of spoofiness!

@MazdaMania: Ahahahaa. "Thats the whole point of Windows. Choice." Yeah. The point of windows is choice. Sorry, but that's just funny.

I really don't think these bunkers - at least the German ones - were "certainly designed to intimidate with their boxy brutishness".

@bozzomarc: Most of these - i Europe at least - were camouflaged or coverede with sand, so they remained hidden from the air - and the allied bombers. They were not built to intimidate. You don't need that when an MG-42 is firing at you. I think it would be more intimidating and practical that you never knew where

@Phaota: The short leans heavily towards the HL2 side. The environment, the soldiers all of it is clearly inspired by HL2. Play it - if your computer can't run it it must be very old. It is a very well programmed game that should run effortlessly on any newer system - with a dedicated graphics card of course.

@dopepope: Exactly the kind of game I would pay good money to play. I am praying - not to any god but to chance maybe - that Valve will suddenly pull just such a title out.

My god those two are annoying.

@The Minions: Good to read. @ProudAmerican76: Did you read it?

@ProudAmerican76: Classy comment. What happened to innocent until proven guilty?

@Rock517: Well they're not completely different. But of course they aren't completely similar either. To call someone intellectually deficient because they compare the two? Classy.

@berbar: Actually as it turns out even the US still burns oil for power - although in a very small degree:

@StyxaT: Same in Denmark and a lot of other European countries.

@berbar: Your last line kinda detracts from your statement. There are other countries out there - and some of them actually burn oil to generate electricity!

@Adam: Denmark as well. Most of Europe AFAIK.
