Seriously. I saw all the great classics of cinema on a tv screen, some on VHS. It never diminished them.

Seriously... I mean the worst are people nostalgic for Blockbuster. I remember Blockbuster very well, and it truly was atrocious. The same 10 most recent “blockbuster” movies available on hundreds of dvds and basically nothing else. The selection was so poor (never a foreign or independent movie of course), it was

Newsflash: Mark Wahlberg is a douchebag!

How cowardly

As a native French speaker, Witnesses (Les Témoins) is great, intriguing and perfectly acted with beautiful cinematography. The 2 seasons are very different, with really weird and creepy plots but always fascinating. But La Mante is not good, typical TF1 French series, completely miscast and exploitative with no

She’s truly amazing and frankly I think it will be very difficult to live up to her performance for her successors...

Charlotte Gainsbourg, Rest

That would be so swell! Or she could just take a knee everytime she’s with the orange one.

I don’t get how does Micro escape from the government agents sent to kill him. He’s shot and fall in the East river and they don’t go look for his body and just presume he’s dead? Did he swim away? I’m confused...

Plus, Mr Peanutbutter is inherently nice and wants to make everyone happy, the complete opposite of detestable trump.

I really like Meyerowitz Stories, and it’s by far the best of Baumbach’s movies in my view. I found it funny, touching, relatable and full of beautiful performances and moments. But I was really taken aback by how much the movie reminded me of Woody Allen. I actually think it is a tribute/homage, or a really good riff

aha, i did the same thing, Kaz sounds so much better in French!!

I can only deal with comedies right now (don’t ask), so this week end I’m alternating with episodes of my fav show of all times, Bojack Horseman (I know, can get dark, but always so brilliant and funny at the same time), with Toast of London which I just discovered on Netflix and which is so likable and funny, and

What an amazing episode, beautifully written with gorgeous performances. So many delightful or devastating details... I’m trying to pace the episodes to not arrive to the end of the season too quickly, but my oh my, this is truly one of my favorite shows of all time.
