Phoebe Waller-Bridge is indeed amazing, her other 2016 show, Crashing, is on Netflix. It's more of an ensemble show and it's really funny! Another great new British comedic talent is Michaela Coel with Chewing Gum (also on Netflix) which is hysterical! And people used to say women were not funny…

You too? We always do a Bresson/Tarkovski marathon at our house on Thanksgiving. And John Waters For Christmas.

Not sure if you're aware, but there's a new show called The Trump Tower, which is very similar and very compelling to (hate-)watch.

Trump's accountant is the best! You'll never pay taxes again, the only certainty left will just be death.

He's just deflecting everybody's attention from all the serious issues already tainting his presidency like his $25 million lawsuit loss, or the fact that Pam Bondi one of the Florida grand electors got a $25,000 check from his foundation to drop a lawsuit against Trump U or that he's already using the Presidency to

So is Kanye performing at Trump's inauguration?

Great episode all the way (and i was dreading it!) The only bad sketch to me was the breastfeeding skit which felt like a bad rip-off of the priceless Little Britain "Bitty" bits.

This is exactly what the doctor ordered after this rough week and to make our new reality more bearable.

It did, but Valerian dates back from 1967 and famously inspired (heavily!) Star Wars.

You should watch Chewing Gum on Netflix, it's absolutely hysterical! (and Crashing is great too!) Seriously, we should watch only British comedies from now on, nothing really compares…

I actually loved that episode and view it as a brilliant tribute to The Birds (the scenes in the safe house and the school were obvious homage to Hitchcock). I also enjoyed the fun reference to the Silence of the Lambs (the end…?)

I don't think the reviewer understood the final twist at all

Women? Nasty women?

I always love the French poster for Diva (Beinex) by Ferraci and how it told the essence of the plot in a compelling visual way:

Another Beineix movie poster which became iconic but not as potent as Diva is Betty Blue:

His art is really unique and the doc does a great job showing the artist's process and his works. His art is ultimately uplifting even when it's critical due to its spectacular nature. To top it all he seems like a really nice guy with his feet firmly on the ground while his head is in the clouds! A very satisfying

I think the show was originally developed for Showtime, who passed on it, not Netflix.

It does make a perfect case for Brexit!

The Bateman, Bruce Wayne meets American Psycho

I'm not a big fan of super heroes in general and I also thought Daredevil was kind of boring and cliché (I really cringed at the beginning of the series when the dad hold his son in his arms and the camera zooms out while he screams Nooooooo!) But I loved Jessica Jones. I found it very compelling and captivating, full

You mean taking care of the dogs?
