Glow may be my favorite new show this year. Perfect balance of funny/sad, original/universal & a lovely cast! Btw not sure why but Marc Maron really reminds me of François Truffaut in this, even though not on the same creative level…

"Budget out of control" seems to be the main reason (with harrowing production schedule to boot). It's a shame because Sense 8 had a huge following, even more so in countries like Brazil. It would be great if they could do a special episode to bring closure, but that's very unlikely…
The show was his idea and his creation.
Remember the Uber sketch Aziz did for SNL last time he hosted? That was excellent as well!
Salò.
There's also a scene in a French movie called Le Vieux Fusil that I saw as a kid that is burnt into my mind for the rest of my life: The wife and daughter of a man fleeing the nazis being burnt alive with flamethrowers under his own eyes. Just thinking about it makes me want to vomit.
I always meant to watch…
Thank you! That's my only gripe with the show. His accent is so caricatural and "comical" that it actually makes me uncomfortable. Why not cast an African actor? In a show about "wokeness" that seems really tone deaf.
Under A French Man's Buns (that rhymes better with Sun) and she loves chocolate!
She's actually 14
She's 14, not 13
I just binge-watched Hap & Leonard on Netflix, and I adored it!
It's amazing!
The main thing we learn in Iron Fist the series, is that Danny Rand is the Immortal Iron Fist. And he states it in this trailer as well, so spare yourself the slow torture of IF the series.
No, you don't have to watch Iron Fist, I would actually discourage you to do so. JJ was awesome, IF was the opposite of awesome. But he seems to be better as a part of a group than solo…
Season 1 is on Netflix
This is a truly great trailer! The music, editing and Kevin's Spacey's narration work perfectly to provoke anticipation while keeping a sense of mystery. Very powerful!
Can't wait for this! This promo reminds me a bit of Veridian Corp on Better Off Ted. Don't forget to check the associated website superpigproject.com, it's hilarious!
thanks!
you mean muslim? (can't do italics here…)
She's freaking amazing! I'm also really enjoying the show btw, it's a comedy, not a real life reenactment of a murder trial, people should lighten up…
I like it better than the original, so yes, you're right.
