Oh, hey, I'm UU too!
…I don't really have much else to say, I just think it's nice whenever I find someone who shares that odd little religion.

'S fine, we'll get better songs.

If turning Discworld books into movies had a better track record, I'd just say do Small Gods. Well, something along the same vein as that book, or one of the other faith-themed ones, anyway.

I keep trying to think of some way you could design a film that gives the appearance of being a self-affirming shallow faith propaganda thing, but actually ends up convincing the viewers to reevaluate their way of thinking to be less toxic. It would have to be really subtle, so they don't even realize their opinions

It's going to Godlose.

I think I read about prayer warriors somewhere. If memory serves, their spell selection and defensive bonuses combo well with most cleric builds. But I mean you can do a lot of the same things with a straight-up paladin, so I never really saw the appeal.

Adventure time reached some sort of weird cartoon enlightenment in its 6th season and now it can do whatever the hell it wants.

You're really right about the energy in that episode. I just rewatched the kiss at the end and I really love the way they use Penny's shapshifting there.

Oh man, I've been wanting to try some new animation software. I got Adobe Animate but the interface is dark and scary now.

Commenting a year later, but it just occurred to me that the cliche here wouldn't be "girls have feelings," but "girls can't control their emotions." Riley had the opposite problem; she refused to let her true feelings take hold, to an unhealthy level. That seems like more of a male stereotype.
Oh, wait, you're all

Grrr, what's wrong with my xkcd filter? It was supposed to change all instances of "Batman" to "a man dressed like a bat."

It did, actually! Not the virus, but for a while after the comic there was a button under your commenting box that would read the comment back to you before posting. http://blog.xkcd.com/2008/1…

I liked those early cartoons that felt like whenever they used CGI they had to make a really big deal out of it, even though it was only mediocre. Like, the Kirby anime had this episode with the giant bird Dyna-Blade, and there were all these extended shots of it flying through the sky from all angles, rigidly

Isn't smugness his default face expression?

I was hoping a couple confused Shruggalos would appear…
Actually, I just wanted to say that word.

Of being what?

Ok fine I'll go there. Women dig big roosters.

Little me was really happy that Buttons finally got a reward for his heroics at the end of Wakko's Wish.
